4th Annual Big Valley Street Dance to be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022. A fun
event to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of harvest and back-to-
school season.
The day begins with a Community Market at the Big Valley Agriplex from 12:00-
3:00 pm. During the Market, there will also be a fun Veggie Contest for all ages.
Come show off your garden bounty in the following categories: Longest Zucchini,
Heaviest Potato, Longest Carrot, Heaviest Beet, and Veggie with the Most
Personality. Judging at 2:30 pm.
The Show & Shine will begin at the Big Valley Agriplex at 3:30 pm and travel
through town to park on Main Street for the evening. Bring your car, truck or
motorcyle to participate.
Big Valley Inn will host a Beer Garden on Main Street, starting at 4:00 pm.
Games for all ages will be set up, beginning at 5:00 pm. There will also be a BBQ
on Main Street from 5:00-7:00 pm .
Live music will start on the Main Street Stage at 6:00 pm with locals, Dallas & Lori
Gordon playing until 7:00. The band, Bottle Rock-It from Trochu, will play from
7:30 to 11:30 pm
The event is free to attend, and donations will be gratefully accepted.
Many local businesses will be open a bit later than usual that evening. We thank
the many community groups, organizations, donors and sponsors that have
stepped up to help make this day successful.
