We need your help! We are going to have a Work Bee in the Stettler Hospital Atrium on Saturday, April 13 starting at 9:00 am to prepare for the upcoming renovation in May.
We are doing three shifts:
9:00 - 11:00 am
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
1:00 - 3:00 pm, if needed.
There are jobs for everyone's skill level and physical ability and include:
We have removed all the silk plants and they can be washed up. We are hoping to sell them so we can purchase new live plants.
At the far end of the Atrium (west end): the river rocks need to be removed, and the soil skimmed off down about 3 or 4 inches in that 'bed'. Soil will need to be hauled out, and new soil mixed into the bed.
Around the west end fountain, some of the soil removed and new soil added and plants replanted.
The circle bed to the north of the main door: fabric removed, soil added and mixed in. Three large plants planted.
Please bring garden gloves, shovels, five-gallon pails, hoes, and whatever else you think you would use gardening.
We will have wheeled trollies to help haul the used soil out of the building.
