It’s not even Halloween yet and the Stettler Friends of the Library Society is pushing Christmas! We have started selling tickets for the 4th Annual Christmas Wine Survivor, so it’s not actually about Christmas. It is really all about the wine during one of the most exciting weeks on the Library’s calendar!
“What is this Christmas Wine Survivor?”, you ask? For a $20 ticket and a $15 bottle of wine, you could win as many as 60 bottles of wine! That will get you either one big party or it will take you through 2022 in style (don’t forget, bottles of wine make great gifts)! Plus, there is not just one winner, the last six names left in the fish bowl are winners. Each “Wine Survivor” wins a percentage of the wine collected so you will want to stay in the draw as long as possible.
If your name is drawn before the final elimination round, you can purchase a one-time immunity for $10. If you are eliminated a second time, there is no coming back (until next year). Save time by purchasing immunity when you buy your ticket, or wait until your name is eliminated and reach out then. You have until 1 pm the day following being eliminated to buy back in. Elimination draws will be live-streamed on the Stettler Public Library’s Facebook page at 4 pm every day beginning Monday, November 29 and ending with the final elimination draw on Saturday, December 4.
There are only 200 tickets available and they will be on sale until Saturday, November 27 at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Stettler Public Library or from any member of the Stettler Friends of the Library Society. Money raised will be used to purchase additional e-books and e-audiobooks for the eLibrary (CloudLibrary and Libby apps). If you have any questions, contact us at 403-742-2292.
