In the early hours of October 14th, 2020, emergency crews were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover just north of Stettler, Alberta.
The call came in shortly after 7:30 am when a passing motorist called 911 after witnessing the scene while traveling to work. Stettler Regional Fire And Rescue were on site shortly thereafter, followed soon by Emergency Medical Services and the RCMP.
The caller had voiced concern during the 911 call regarding the possibility of a victim(s) trapped within the vehicle as it was partially submerged in water, but no one was found inside once firefighters were able to perform a closer inspection of the interior.
The incident is believed to have occurred overnight with an unconfirmed report of at least one person attending Stettler Hospital for possible injuries related to the accident after its occurrence.
No further details are available at this time and the investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
