Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

Grew up in Bluffton, Rimbey area

Why do you (did you) choose Stettler as home?

I chose Stettler as my home,

because I have so many friends here, and sincerely love the community

with a passion. I was living in Red Deer prior to me moving here, and

I have never looked back, as Stettler will be my forever home.


What do you do? What is your full title?

I work at Scotiabank as a customer experience associate and love the work and customers and coworkers with a sincere passion. I also am a licensed Alberta Auctioneer, currently employed with AvonRoy Auctions and Liquidators out of Camrose, With sales conducted at their auction site on weekends. I also help out Stettler Auction Mart, with their agriplex sales and love the auction industry so very much. I was privileged to be in the top 10 spot, in the

Canadian all around auctioneering competition, in 2019 in Calgary, and hoping I can compete again in the upcoming year.


Family?

I have my wonderful parents and siblings in the Stettler area, and happy to have such wonderful support from them every single day


Education?

I attended Echo valley Christian School in Rimbey and got my Junior high education in 2001 from this School, I attained my auctioneering college degree in 2009 from the Auctioneers Training Center of Canada, In Saskatoon, SK. I also completed my Alberta Auctions 101 and 201 Regulations and ethics courses, which have so helped me in the industry I have such passion for. I was also involved with The Stettler Toastmasters course for about 4 Years, and give them huge credit for giving me the wonderful skills to make life the best ever.


Who inspired you in your youth? I would say Rick Hansen and Terry Fox had a huge impact on my life growing up, as I saw their quality of life was so wonderful because of their great determination to let nothing

stop them from accomplishing their goals


Who inspires you now?

My mother Marge, has absolutely been the most inspiring woman to me and always encouraging me to keep accomplishing goals, and making dreams become reality. I remember all the times she sat with me during my hospital stays after my accident,

or just being my motivation to keep moving forward, with the best attitude ever, never letting anything get in my way of accomplishing anything. Thanks, mom for being my huge support in the auction industry and coming along with me to so many awesome events over the years.


Do you have any hobbies?

Yes I love working out, Wheeling around, and riding my handcycle, whenever I have time


What are your plans for the future?

I love this as My future is totally determined by how I live in my beautiful present time. I want to become more involved with community events and continue the awesome career I

currently have With Scotiabank. I love volunteering at events, whether they are local or far away, as People have been so good to me over the years, I want to do my part and give back to this town as much as I can. It has always been my dream to be on the Premier's Council on the status of persons with Disabilities, As I have such a love for people who try to make their life the best ever, from any type of disability they may have. I want to continue to make my life an inspiration, and continue to show my peers and friends, that when there is a vision of

compassion with authenticity in one's mind, The quality of life is such a beautiful, meaningful experience, and nothing will ever stop anyone from accomplishing a goal they may have. I am so excited to be a member of spinal cord injury Alberta, and A Client ambassador for

United Way Central Alberta, allowing me to work with such wonderful organizations, working with such wonderful people. I want to make my life a beaming vision every single day, to prove to anyone that when you choose to live life with zero regrets and live with love and

compassion, you simply can attain everything you have ever dreamed of.



Anything else you would like to add about being a resident of Stettler?

I would love to say how much I love and cherish my community and everyone in it, As I Find this community is so very generous with giving and caring, and making events the most valuable ever. I have done quite a few local fundraising auctions over the years and found

that The quality of sharing I have received, was 1000 percent.
