Where are you from? Where did you grow up?
Born Ponoka 1956
Grew up mostly Wetaskiwin but moved around quite a bit! 11.5 years of school, went to 10 different ones!!
Why do you (did you) choose Stettler as home?
Ran a Bowling Center in Wetaskiwin for 20 years, left to a welding shop, heard the lanes here were for sale, looked into it, sold my house, and came on down!!
What do you do? What is your full title?
I used to race Standardbred horses for about 10 years until I got married! Had odd jobs till I started at the bowling center!
Family?
Divorced after 11 years of marriage with 2 Great Kids and now 2 Grandkids!
Who inspired you in your youth? My cousin Sam and my Uncle Orval inspired me to be a hard worker and never back down because of my disability. (Legally Blind, but still have vision, just not good)
Who inspires you now?
Nowadays, it's Geno Ziebarth for as he gets older, he still wants to compete at the highest level and he does! Part of our Pro Team-Heartland Kingpins
Do you have any hobbies?
Hobbies, Bowling, and Poker in Big Events. Been to the World Series of Poker 11 times!
What are your plans for the future?
Plans for the Future, try and survive! Covid and all rules have destroyed my business!!
Anything else you would like to add about being a resident of Stettler?
Wasn't sure how people would react when I first moved here 15 years ago, but it has been nothing but AWESOME!!
