A reminder from the Erskine Post Office to pick up your parcels in a timely manner! The Christmas rush has begun, and we are seeing an increase in the volume of parcels. Please don’t give thieves a reason to make the post office a target!!

Thank you to everyone who came and supported local vendors at the Erskine Kickoff to Christmas Market! It was a good turnout, and the vendors appreciated all the customers that came out to support their small businesses! Shopping Local is so important to keep our community strong!

Each vendor donated an item at the market, and we sold tickets to win three beautiful baskets. Tickets sales were great, and we were able to raise $377, which was donated to the Erskine IOOF Hall. Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser! The Hall has not been able to host their fundraising suppers/pancake breakfasts, and the group was very grateful for the donation! Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser!

The Annual Mingle and Jingle Market hosted by Heather Jobs is the next market at the Erskine IOOF Hall. The market will be held on November 28th, from 11:00-5:00. You can join the Mingle and Jingle Trade and Gift Show Facebook Group to get all the details:

The Tail Creek Snowbirds will be hosting their first meeting of the season on Sunday, December 5th, at 7 pm. For questions or more information, you can contact Dustin Weinzierl at 403-741-5029.

The Curling Season begins this week! The Erskine Curling Club is excited to get started what looks to be a great season! Men’s league will be Monday and Tuesday nights. The Ladies League will be Wednesday night.

The Erskine Extreme Parents Society had its annual meeting in October to vote for the executive. The chair is Brooke Shaw, Secretary is Nichole Conrad, Treasurer is Amanda Haustein, and the Fundraising Coordinator is Lisa Eastman. There will be no meeting in December, and they will meet again in January. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month, at 3:15 in the school library. All parents are welcome!
