Stettler and District Handi Bus

The Stettler and District Handi Bus requires a Temporary Part time driver. This position is covering an extended medical leave. Would be working one week on, one week off.


The Handi Bus is a local transportation service for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.


  • Must have a Class 1, 2, or 4 license, Driver abstract, and Medical and Criminal record check with Vulnerable sector check.

  • We operate Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.

  • Sometimes may have to work overtime until all clients are home.

  • Looking for someone who has experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities and is courteous and patient.

  • Drivers are responsible for the following:

    • Collect fares and tickets purchased and keep track of daily stats on the bus.

    • Complete the vehicle trip inspection sheet each day.

    • Clean the bus and garage daily.

  • Training provided

  • Ideal position for someone who is semi-retired.
