2/9 - Stettler Knockbusters host 4th annual tournament

This past weekend The William E. Hays Nockbusters held their 4th annual Archery Tournament. We had close to three hundred archers attend from sixteen different schools. Our High School team placed 1st overall and our Junior High School team placed 2nd.  

The following archers placed in the top 3 in their grade level:

Grade 7 Girls - Piper Simpson 1st & Jen Bohn 2nd 

Grade 8 Boys - Deacon Barclay 2nd

Grade 8 Girls -  Gena McClung 3rd 

Grade 9 Boys -  Sorin Shafer 3rd

Grade 10 Boys - Owen McClung 2nd

Grade 10 Girls - Evie Blake 3rd

Grade 11 Boys - Ryan Yates 1st and Nick Deaver 2nd 

Grade 12 Boys - Talyor Knudston 1st and Hunter Maginn 2nd

Grade 12 Girls - Emily Barclay 1st

 Emily Barclay was also the Top Archer of the tournament! As this is our first tournament of our season the coaches are very pleased with all our archers. Our archers made Stettler proud. Coaches would like to thank all the parents who helped us run this tournament. We couldn't do it without you! Stettler Knockbuster archers continue to Castor on February 21st, Wetaskwin on February 29th, Ardrossan on March 7th,  Provincials on March 13th, Smoky Lake on April 4th and Nationals on April 24th.
