The format of today's festival started in 1968.
We have grown from a three-day festival to a nine day festival.
Our Festival has grown through the years seeing up to 700 entries some years.
Through our scholarships we have $4000 to be awarded.
The festival has over 100 community minded volunteers each year.
Many of our past entrants have gone on to become teachers, performers or behind the scenes crew.
Stettler has a vibrant arts community in which there is an Award of excellence winner each year, these winners have encouraged and nurtured young and young at heart through various arts.
We can boast many speech, vocal soloist and choirs that have been recommended to go onto perform at the provincials. Among those recommendations Provincial winners have included Pitts Pets, The Gracenotes, Rhapsody Girls and Tiny Tenors and Mrs. Boyd-Stadelmann’s grade 2DB class of 2017.
