The Stettler Hospital Services Foundation welcomed 53 golfers to the Stettler Golf and Country club on Saturday. The annual golf tournament is one of the events the foundation hosts to raise funds for improvements at the Stettler Hospital Complex.

SHSF Admin, Mary Jane Jackson, said that the foundation gets wonderful support from the community and donations and sponsors for the golf tournament were not any different this year.

“We have a great number of sponsors.” Mary Jane Jackson

The tournament had several sponsorships with volunteers working various special activities on most of the course's 9 holes. Heartland Auto Supply sponsored the hole in one prize on hole #6 as did Myers Norris Penny on hole #2. Other volunteers served smokies supplied by IDA Pharmacy and served shooters on a hole sponsored by Firefly Blessings.

Before the meal was served, Board president Leona Thorogood and her associates presented the various prizes for the different proxies, and games.
