Seniors Engaging in Economic Development

Updated: Aug 11, 2021

Please call Wendy at 403-743-0347 or email her at wendy@rairdanservices.ca for more information on how you can help your community thrive.

The SEED Program is made possible by a federal grant to engage our experienced and active seniors in the economic recovery of our community after the devastating effects of the declining oil and gas industry and COVID-19.

SEED hosts business events and manages projects in our community, including the Business Book Club, CABC Job Fair, the Cash Mob, the Wednesday *Work Lunch, Paint for Prosperity, and 'Behind the Businesses' to help support local businesses. We are boots on the ground support for our businesses and do our best to promote our local shops and services while helping businesses find the resources they need.

The Central Alberta Business Centre is home of the SEED Program. CABC is open by appointment only.
