Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a full time Mental Health Wellness Coach for the CARS (Caring and Resilient Students) Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) program. This position starts on September 1, 2022 and the successful candidate will receive a one year term contract. This position includes assigned hours during July and August.
Under the supervision of the Mental Health Capacity Building Coordinator, the successful candidate will deliver programs to students, parents and school staff to increase knowledge pertaining to all aspects of mental health and wellness.
Ideal qualifications are a post-secondary degree in Social Work, Psychology and/or equivalent, with at least 2 years experience working in addiction and mental health. The successful applicant will be a highly organized and student focused individual. They must work well in a collaborative team oriented environment. This position is subject to a probationary period. The successful candidate will be based out of Stettler, AB and will travel throughout the school division. A driver’s license is required.
