Characters, Rocks & the Ensuing Mess Writing Workshop - May 11

Updated: May 13

Stettler Public Library

Join us at the Stettler Library for Characters, Rocks, and the Ensuing Mess, a writing workshop with Leslie Greentree on Saturday, May 11 at 1:00 pm.

Screenwriters describe movie plotting as putting their character up a tree, then throwing rocks (challenges) at them. Fiction writers have even more flexibility to figure out how many rocks, how big, and how jagged.

Let's dig into what drives your characters, mash that together with their goal, and see how much fun plotting can be. Sometimes the most memorable characters are the ones who throw rocks at themselves.

Please call 403-742-2292 to register and bring your laptop or writing utensils. This will be an interactive workshop.
