Are you interested in a career in EMS?
We are awarding two $1000 bursaries for two high school students interested in pursing a career in EMS.
The successful candidates will want to make a difference with a career as a paramedic through action-based learning in ambulances and hospitals. Will strive to gain knowledge and experience in anatomy, physiology, basic pharmacology, and traumatic emergency response.
Eligibility
Applicant must have successfully enrolled into pre-hospital care at a post-secondary institution.
The applicant will receive the reward once.
Applicant must be a resident of the County of Stettler or the Town of Stettler.
The applicant must supply the Stettler Ambulance Association with: a) Proof of enrolment in a post-secondary institution. b) Proof of high school diploma or eligibility. c) Two personal references of no relation to the applicant.
Deadline
Applications must be received by the Stettler District Ambulance Association at dguba@telus.net no later than June 1, 2023. The successful applicant will be presented with their bursary at the following Stettler District Ambulance Association Board meeting.
