Wildcat Theatre is performing Little Women at the Stettler Performing Arts Centre this week for students and via livestream for the public on February 19. The students from Wm. E Hay Stettler Secondary Campus have been preparing for the play since the beginning of the school year, and they are excited to be back on stage.
Darren Fleischhacker, Drama Teacher and Fine Arts Department Team Leader and Director of Little Women, spoke to us about the production. They had initially planned to put on six performances for the students but received news from AHS on Monday that it was a no-go for two live performances per day despite everything they had prepared to do to present it safely.
“We are doing four shows now vs six and by the time we do the Friday night livestream performance, it will be a great experience.” Darren Fleischhacker
