We would like to advise residents that due to a minor algae infiltrate at the Water Treatment Plant, residents may be experiencing an earthy odor or taste in their water. The algae was promptly identified and treated, and all water is completely safe to consume. In order to eliminate the current taste and odor of the water, the Water Treatment Plant will temporarily switch to a different water source; it may take several days for the taste of the water to fully improve.
