StettlerLocal.com is celebrates one year serving the community!

January 18, 2020 Rairdan Services Inc. launched the online news outlet and it has been growing strong ever since.

It is our goal at StettlerLocal.com to deliver the news in a timely and easily accessible way with our website, Stettler's only TV channel, our FREE weekly eNews, our social media and, of course, our app. With StettlerLocal.com Stettler is in your pocket.

We are proud to say that in our first year:

  • We launched Stettler’s first app offering news, TV, community news, full business listings, local events, Main Street weather camera, Non-profit listings, movie listings and more

  • We published more than 700 community updates and news articles

  • We provided over 200 COVID updates from the Town, County and Province

  • We created Stettler's only local TV channel and delivered over 120 TV segments

  • We encourage shopping local by offering a free way for businesses to promote their local sales and flyers

  • We established a process to offer free obituaries

  • We helped promote Stettler with the #stettlerab page

  • We help recruit volunteers for no charge for charitable organizations

Our innovative approach to offering a local TV channel has provided a platform for local leaders during the pandemic, showcased our local businesses and services, shared our rich rural culture, offered another platform for local news and highlighted some of our wonderful events, activities, locations and residents. Our TV channel not not only provides great services to the community but it also promotes and markets our area.

"StettlerLocal.com was always about serving the community with valuable relevant news and up to date community information. I wanted to create something custom for our community and our needs not just follow the patterns and delivery methods of traditional news sources. I am proud of the work we have done this year. We are especially proud to have been here to provide the public with information about COVID-19 from local and provincial governments as soon as it was available. Our average time on posting and sharing COVID-19 news from the province is 23 minutes. We have a great team of local talent that makes this all possible and I am very excited about the future of StettlerLocal.com. " Wendy Rairdan, Owner/Operator of Rairdan Services, Inc. & Editor of StettlerLocal.com

And we are just getting started.

Community is at the core of StettlerLocal.com. We live here. We work here. We want our community to flourish and because of this we donate a significant amount of time and services to our community.
