Stettler Board of Trade Press Release July 8, 2021 @ 21:12pm published 3:10pm

Plans to celebrate the local agricultural industry rescheduled for summer of 2022.
COVID-19 concerns have led to the postponement of the 2021 Stettler Taste of the
Heartland however organizers plan to return next year.
Donna Morris, Project Manager for the Stettler Regional Board of Trade and Community
Development, stated that impediments as the province reopens for summer following
the COVID-19 restrictions, has offered some struggles for those involved with the event.
“We were excited to be permitted to host the Taste of the Heartland in a modified
version, introducing new and exciting opportunities to our guests, however
complicating circumstances as our province reopens will prevent us from hosting this
years’ event.” said Morris. “We look forward to returning next summer to celebrate
our local agricultural industry and provide guests with another unique and
educational experience.”
The annual Taste of the Heartland event is co-sponsored with the Stettler Board of
Trade, the Town of Stettler and the County of Stettler No. 6. The full day experience
offers a multi-farm bus tour, tailgate market, and long table dinner hosted on our historic
main street showcasing the importance of the agricultural lifestyle of our community.
Committee members remain dedicated to promoting the products and services of our
local agricultural industry. Plans for the 2022 Stettler Taste of the Heartland will be
ongoing. Information can be found on the Taste of the Heartland website by visiting
