Savannah Severin is a self-taught artist who is local to Stettler. She has her own company called SASART, which is how she brands her work. Savannah has worked and taught in many different places, from teaching her art classes to working in care homes and group homes.
Severin wants to share her skills and knowledge with others and help people add creativity to their lives. She specializes in black and white pen and ink scenery illustrations; however, she likes to create art through as many mediums as possible. For example, she likes acrylic painting because they dry fast, and it is easy for others to learn.
Severin is offering art classes starting on the 3rd of July, and you can book up to the 10th of July. She has plans to add more courses once the first classes are over. Each class will be about 2.5 hours long. Classes are virtual or at the Central Alberta Business Centre on Main Street. Her classes start at $30 and have an average price of $60. All materials and supplies for the class will be provided.
Classes she is offering right now are Acrylic Paint classes, Watercolour, Mom and Tot, as well as pen illustration classes. Most of them are scenery based classes, but she will be releasing other subject-based classes soon. At the moment, all of her classes are beginner classes; however, Savannah is planning to add harder mediums into her classes for intermediate and advanced people, including mediums like oil painting.

New artists can expect to come out of her classes with new skills, including learning the basics of painting and drawing. You will also walk away with your own unique art piece to show off in your home. Severin mentioned that her classes are a great family-friendly activity.
