Press Release County of Stettler March 18, 2020 @ 2:12pm
The Stettler Regional Emergency Management Agency (SREMA) is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Alberta closely, as well as the effects it may have on our residents. As a result of the strain the COVID-19 outbreak may cause on social services and accessibility, SREMA has developed the Community Resource Connection Form. This form aims to connect residents in need of assistance with volunteers or individuals available for hire.
Through the Community Resource Connection Form, SREMA will establish connections for the following services: Childcare, Groceries & Household Essentials, Delivery, Medication Delivery Petcare and Tutoring
In order to connect local businesses with emergency information & planning, the Stettler Board of Trade has launched the Business Resources Support Form. The form will assess the assets of participating businesses and also measure the needs of these businesses resulting from ongoing emergency restrictions and regulations.
If you are in need of any of these services or are able to provide them, please complete the forms found on www.stettler.net or www.stettlercounty.ca or call the SREMA hotline at 403-742-7300. A representative will review your responses and will contact you for further support.
For ongoing updates from SREMA regarding COVID-19 in Alberta, please continue to visit www.stettler.net or www.stettlercounty.ca or follow the Town of Stettler and County of Stettler on Facebook.
Working together to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
