Bob Gallaugher, owner of Heartland Bowling Centre, preps the lanes for reopening on Friday

Heartland Bowl will be reopening for business starting on Friday June 11th at noon.

Heartland Bowling Centre will be reopening according to AHS guidelines of Stage 2 meaning bowlers can call the alley at 403-742-3149 to book their lane. The bowling centre cannot take walks-ins until things completely reopen again. The bowling alley can accommodate groups of 6, and unlike previous restrictions, members of the group don’t have to be from the same household.

AHS guidelines require bowlers to wear masks whenever they leave the pit area, and the lanes will be spaced out as per social distancing guidelines. The alley will be serving food and drinks to those who wish to purchase them.

“Hopefully we can make it to the fall and get leagues going again.” - Bob Gallaugher, Owner Heartland Bowling Centre

Owner/operator Bob Gallaugher is looking forward to being able to welcome bowlers back onto his lanes. He says he is already booked up for Friday night which is a great feeling.

Gallaugher says that the only problem with opening now is that the alley can sometimes get pretty hot in the summertime, so he’s not able to plan for any leagues at the time. However, he plans on putting together some sort of tournament in July.
