Succession Planting
Succession planting means planting seeds of some crops once per week (or once every two weeks) to increase the harvest length of short lived crops.
Lettuce, radishes, beans, and spinach all fall under this category and can be planted repeatedly in order to increase fresh harvest. This is especially useful for crops that do not keep well.
Succession planting does not work well for crops with long maturation times (such as corn) as Zone 3B has a short gardening season - less than 120 days.
