Clearview Public Schools invites applications for a Full Time Head Custodian position at Stettler Elementary School and Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus. The successful candidate will be required 8 hours/day Monday through Friday starting immediately. The position is an evening shift starting at 3 pm and it requires an individual to be in good physical condition as heavy lifting (up to 40lbs.) and physically demanding tasks are required.
As outlined in the Head Custodian job description, the successful candidate must have the technical, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills to:
Monitor work quality and provide training;
Supervise custodial staff and maintain a high cleaning standard;
Schedule custodial staff;
Monitors equipment maintenance and repair; and
Maintain an inventory of supplies and material.
The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate in a professional manner with school administration and staff.
Once the three month probationary period is completed, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $23.98 per hour with sick leave. They would also receive other benefits including extended health care, vision, dental and pension.
