At approximately 3:30 pm on April 19th, 2020 Stettler Regional Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a fire at Parkdale in Stettler, Alberta for a call regarding a house on fire where flames could be observed emanating from the home.
Many calls were made regarding the structure fire and EMS also attended the scene, in addition to multiple fire trucks and personnel.
The situation was quickly brought under control and evidence of the blaze could be seen remaining on the front of the house. Spectators at the scene reported that the homeowners were able to successfully contain the fire until help arrived on scene.
Ensuring no further danger was present, emergency crews stayed on location where they applied water to the exterior of the building. They then removed siding from the house, so it could be inspected for any lingering hot spots and to verify the cause of the flames.
By 4:30 PM everything was concluded and emergency services vacated the area.
No further information regarding the cause of the fire is available at this time and no one suffered any injuries as a result of this incident.
