Thinking About Getting an Environmental Farm Plan (EFP)? Here’s Why You Should!
NEW for 2025: Agri-Invest (through AFSC) is now requiring that producers with an average Allowable Net Sales (ANS) of $1 million or more (before the ANS limit is applied) for the past three years (2022–2024) must have a valid agri-environmental risk assessment in place during their 2025 fiscal year.
Eligible Agri-Environmental Risk Assessments include:
Environmental Farm Plans – Available through the County of Stettler
4R Designation for Farmers
Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB) Sustainable Beef Production Standard
Certified Organic
Nutrient Management Plans
Access Resilient Agricultural Landscape (RALP) Funding! RALP offers cost-share funding for projects that enhance environmental resilience, such as:
Off-site watering systems
Shelterbelt planting
Soil salinity reduction initiatives
Rotational grazing systems
