The Central Alberta Care & Pregnancy Centre recognizes that women have a right to make their own choice about the outcome of their pregnancy and their sexual health. With this in mind, the organization provides free support and education to women and their families so they can make supported, informed choices about their future.
CAPCC provides services such as adoption and after-abortion counselling, prenatal education, parenting education, maternity home support, a program for sexual health, support for fathers and much more. In 2019 the program celebrated its 30 year anniversary of supporting women and families.
CAPCC trains their volunteers to provide care and support in a non-judgmental way to ensure that all women feel comfortable in reaching out for whatever support they need and for whatever option they choose.
The program receives funding to support families through the support of many individuals, churches, service clubs, corporate donors, fundraising events and sponsors such as United Way, Red Deer FCSS and the Muttart Foundation.
The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre has locations in Red Deer, Olds, Rocky Mountain House, Caroline and Drumheller but services larger areas surrounding these centres. They will be hosting a fundraiser at the Stettler Community Hall on March 7th. Doors will open at 5:30 to browse silent auction items and will then proceed to the main event.
