The Buffalo Lake Nature Club is celebrating 50 years as a member club of Nature Alberta!
Our membership hails from various locations in central Alberta. We hold monthly meetings with guest speakers in the winter, take part in owl surveys and Christmas Bird Counts, and hold a number of walks and events in the warmer months, including birding walks. Check us out at buffalolakenature.com.
We are participating in Birding for Nature, a fundraising event which will support the greater conservation and appreciation of nature throughout Alberta.
Your donation through Birding for Nature will encourage our birding adventures, with funds raised going to our umbrella organization, Nature Alberta.
Nature Alberta's initiatives include Nature Kids outreach, conservation outreach initiatives including Nature Alberta Magazine, citizen science programs, and a Nature Network program that supports nature clubs across the province.
The Buffalo Lake Nature Club is a part of making all of that happen, and you can support us by donating! This fundraising effort concludes June 30, 2023.
